Synopsis:
The story revolves around United Nations employee Gerry Lane ( Bras Pitt ), who traverses the world in a race against time to stop a pandemic that is toppling armies and governments and threatening to decimate humanity itself.
Some lines in the movie:
- The 10th man, if 9 of us with the same information arrive at the exact same conclusion, it’s the 10th man’s duty to disagree, no matter how improbable they seem. The 10th man has to start thinking in the assumption that the other 9 are wrong.
- Most people don’t believe something can happen until it already has. That’s not stupidity or weakness, that’s just human nature.
- Yeah, we’re gonna find something. Mother Nature is a serial killer. No one’s better or more creative. Like all serial killers, she cant help but the urge to wanna get caught. What happens to those brilliant crimes if no one takes the credit? So she leaves crumbs. Now the hard part, why you spend a decade in school, is to see the crumbs for the clues they are. Sometimes the thing you thought was the most brutal aspect of the virus, turns out to be the chink in its armor. And she loves disguising her weakness as her strength. She’s a bitch.
